How to get to the island

Favignana is 6 miles away from the western coast of Sicily. Ferries and hydrofoils leave from Trapani’s harbor (25 minutes). From June to September hydrofoils leave also from Naples (4.5 hours) and Marsala (30 minutes).

Palermo and Trapani are the closest airports. From the airports you can reach Trapani’s harbor by bus, taxi or shuttle services. These latter are particularly convenient since the take you directly from the airport to the house on the island (including the hydrofoil ticket).

Bus companies Segesta and AST connect Palermo downtown (Piazza Politeama) or Palermo’s airport with Trapani’s harbor.

Companies Siremar and Ustica Lines offer ferries and hydrofoils services from Trapani’s harbor to the islands (25 minutes). From June to September hydrofoils leave also from Naples (4.5 hours) and Marsala (25 minutes).
